For extra long cuts; short notch cuts; cutting thin, thick or multiple thicknesses of sheet materials; NW Shape Wire and for cable/wire cutting.

Cutting Length/Capacity:3/16" (4.76mm) Dia., cuts 5/32" (4mm) steel wire rope; 1/8" (3.175mm) mild steel rod; 1/8" (3.175mm) stainless steel wire rope; 3/32" (2.4mm) spring/music wire (Hardened wire, cable, wire rope, springs, nails, etc.)

Features

Unbreakable Blades
Hot drop-forged of molybdenum alloy steel (not cast or stamped) and heat treated for excepitonal strength, durability and sharpness. Blade serrations (40 per inch) grip material for even cutting.

Ergonomic Handle
A smaller 5 1/2" spread provides strong cutting pressure and is easier to grip. Strong half hardened steel handles can'y bend or collapse from excessive hand pressure. Individually ground stops keep them from "bottoming" and control the tip "crossover" to prevent sideways tearing of material being cut.

Unbreakable Return Spring
A heavy-duty double over-wind design that survives 120,000 cutting cycles in tests--twice as long as the coil springs in compettitive brand snips. Unconditionally guaranteed for the life of the snips.

Center Pivot Adjustment Bolt
The bolt is threaded into the bottom blade to keep blades in adjustment for 30,000 cuts, the ANSI/ASME Standard.

Softer Copolymer Grips
The grips are contoured and lightly textured for comort and a strong, positive grip. They are extra thick to prevent turning or wear-through, contain no PVC and are recyclable.
