To avoid overheating and damaging the hot knife, depress the trigger for 15 seconds, then release the trigger for 15 seconds. Continue this cycle for a maximum time use. Depressing the trigger continually for more than 5 minutes at a time will cause heat damage and is not covered by the warranty.

Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) Foam, Extruded Polystyrene (XPS) Foam, Polyethylene Foam, Styrofoam, Cross-Linked Polyethylene, Polypropylene, and many other foamed plastics and materials can be easily cut with this Craftsman Hotknife™. Check with the foam manufacturer for safe and proper cutting procedures.

The  groove adaper sled enables you to make thousands of different shapes and elaborate cuts by using our NWFW blade material. It can
be shaped with our WCP wire bending pliers.
