BADGER HC SERIES EPS FOAM COMPACTORS

The Badger HC Series Expanded Polystyrene, EPS,  foam compactor is a machine to reduce the size of expanded polystyrene foam and expanded polypropylene foam for easier transportation. It is also known as EPS densifier and EPS cold compactor. The EPS compactor is widely used in sea food processing plant, electronic factories, white goods and black goods stores, and the supermarkets. Styrofoam compactors makes it profitable for municipalities and businesses to recycle Styrofoam. Three models available for different capacity requirements.

How the Badger HC EPS Compactor Works

• You throw EPS foam scraps into the machine hopper.
• The pre-breaker breaks the foam blocks into smaller flake of size 1" to 2".
• A screw compactor under the pre-breaker presses the foam into compacted logs.
• You stack the logs onto pallets.
• The result is 16 lb/ft³ scrap densified up to 25 lb.ft³ blocks
