Tech Specs

HardCoat is used for theme design, 3d prop fabrication making movie set environments, hard coating precast molds, making surfaces water resistant and other industrial applications. Cured HardCoat Spray plastic is lightweight, flame, impact, and water resistant. Hard Coat Spray Polyurethane Plastic is a flame rated (E-84). HardCoat Spray polyurethane plastic is formulated to economically coat a variety of surfaces. HardCoat Spray cures in about 2 seconds and can be applied to vertical surfaces without running off. An advantage of the system is that large areas can be covered in a short period of time. It can be sanded for priming and painting. HardCoat Spray plastic can also be sprayed into a rubber mold to make fast, impact resistant castings (application of a release agent may be necessary before spraying into the mold).
