VIPER ECHO 3D ROBOT ROUTER

The Demand Viper Echo robot router cell was designed for people that need a milling system that can be quickly moved from one area to another for various reasons. Its collapsible upper enclosure and simplistic electrical requirements make it possible to unplug, unlock the wheels, collapse the extended enclosure section, roll it through a standard (32” X 83”) doorway, plug it in, lock the wheels, expand the enclosure, power the system up, and start milling.

The systems integrated rotary table includes a removable work holding platter that simplifies setup. The platter is quickly removed, allowing you to bolt the material from the bottom of the platter and quickly remount it to the rotary table top. This eliminates the issue of clamps and other work holding tooling from getting in the way.

The enclosure was designed with easy access to the work area for material loading, part unloading, and tool changing. Operator safety is always a priority with our systems. The Demand Viper Echo router includes an interlocked door that will only open when the robot is in the “Parked” position and the spindle is not turning. The robot will also not start up if the door is not closed and/or the enclosure is not expanded.

The system includes a laser tool length setter, making setup and changeover much easier and simplifying tool changeover. Also designed with operator ease of use in mind is the touch screen controller. Basic instruction sets, step-by-step instruction guides, and on screen help make it a very easy system to setup and run.

Demand offers an option for dust collection on the Demand Viper Echo  robot router cell. The option includes preinstalled “down draft” style plumbing that can connect to any Shop Vac or portable industrial vacuum system.
